At that moment, as if possessed by something, it begins with a poignant scene where he shoots indiscriminately at his colleagues in the inner class who were bullying him. The first motif of season 2 appears to be the incident of Sergeant Lim, who went on a gun rampage at GOP barracks in 2014.

Actor Moon Sang-hoon, who plays Private Kim Ru-ri, will also appear in 「D.★P. Season 2 (DP2)」. Following the final scene of season 1, the story of 「D.★P. Season 2 (DP2)」 seems to begin with the appearance of private Kim Ru-ri, who ran away with a grenade after shooting. In the end, he is surrounded by actor Jung Hae-in, who plays Private Ahn Jun-ho, and the search team, but he seems to be in a tense situation just before pulling out the safety pin of the grenade he had.
Another main character, Koo Kyo-hwan, who plays Ahn Jun-ho’s best member Han Ho-yeol, receives a call from an executive saying, “Don’t miss it.”
And following the previous work, two executives reappear, Kim Sung-kyun, who plays Gunnery sergeant Park Beom-gu, who is nervous about the sudden situation, and Son Suk-ku, who plays Capatain Lim Ji-seop, an aide to the military police captain. It looks a little closer than last season.

Producer Han Joon-hee said, 「D.★P. Season 2 (DP2)」 will continue its unfinished story in season 1. And in season 2, I vowed to show a story that is one step further than season 1.
